Due to the coronavirus outbreak, how you contact us is different at the moment, this is to limit face to face contact where ever possible and help stop the spread of the virus. When you contact the surgery by phone, our receptionists will ask you some questions, which, we the GPs have asked them to do. This will help us to assess what service would be most appropriate to help you. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
We are available by telephone and email and you can even consult with a GP online via our website. You choose how you would like to contact us. Your GP will arrange a convenient time for you to attend should they feel they need to see you face to face.
If you have been invited to attend a face to face appointment with us, please make sure you are wearing a face mask before you enter the premises.
If you have symptoms that are concerning you and you can’t explain, please contact us for advice.
This includes symptoms that are unexplained and persistent, such as
- Weight loss
- Blood in you poo or pee
- A change of bowel habit
- Extreme tiredness
- Unexplained pain
- Coughs that have lasted over 3 weeks, especially if you have ever smoked.
These can occasionally be symptoms of cancer and it is important to discuss them with your GP.
